Okay... I've decided
I am going to make the contest very simple. Any one who comments on this post will have their name place into a hat (or bag if I can't find a siutable hat) and on Monday, my daughter will draw the winner for the painting of Hoover Dam. That gives everyone an equal chance right? It also tells me if a follower needs an image to read my posts....heh heh...Good luck! hugs....

Well you know how much I love animal art and you've shown that your just as good with landscapes. The last couple have been fantastic, well done! And... ahem, send my best wishes to your daughter:o)
Growing up with you, I always loved sitting beside you and watch you draw. You were a great artist then and you are still a great artist today! I love how all your paintings are a reflection of YOU! Love the variety of subjects and color palettes of your paintings too!
See I read your post even without a picture ;-) Thanks for running the contest. I love your work and think it's fantastic what you are doing for the animal shelters - I'm trying to think of ways I could do something similar for our local cat sanctuary but unfortunately my painting skills aren't up to scratch (yet).
I don't imagine my odds of winning will be very good because this blog is one of the more popular that I follow! But really, Sheila, the art is lovely and your cheerful attitude keeps us coming back!

Hey, some of us can't read ya know and just get by with the pictures. Pictures are worth a thousand words. . .
But since I check in here regularly and was alarmed to see a post with no picture (I'm lost without pictures) I am relieved to know that al is well and with any luck I'll have my very own picture!
