"Taro & Poi"
20x16
oil on canvas

I've had issues with my computer but am finally relieved to be able to start posting after acquiring a refurbished unit.  This was a fun commission .  The photos of Taro [the dog] and Poi [the cat] were varied so I ended up using a composite of two.

Wow, nice job making changes to the dog's head! Looking at your painting I would never guess that he wasn't posed that way from the start.

Love your painting, Sheila!
I left a comment here a while back, but it apparently didn't go through. Hope this one makes it.

I love the way they pose in your painting! Such a friendly feeling, they are almost focused on the spectator!
