Meatball the cat

This is my contribution to James Parker's Art challenge blog.

He was also featured in a previous painting perched on Malissa's shoulder.

Meatball is our 19 pound cat. He is my son Donovan's cat. It's uncanny. Because cars will park day in an day out in front of my house but when the SUV that brings the kids home parks outside, Meatball immediately goes to the front door to wait for them. This is before you can see them get out of the vehicle.

Meatball is fantastic... my little boy would love to play with him... and it sounds like they have something in common... a love of food! The colours and vibrancy of this painting make it so inviting...I just want to spend hours moving around it and looking at each brushstroke!

Sheila!

This is excellent!

Very impressionistic and lively looking througout! I'd love to see more of your paintings done in this style.

The colors are all vibrant but not overdone.

The reds and pinks in the background go so well with the whites, yellows, and blues in Meatball's fur.

Fantastic job on this one!
