Pity Party is over!

Another sample for the Dog/Pet supply store who will be hanging this and two other paintings in their store for me. I apologize for the glare on the image.

This is Nika!

Cheery! Hi Sheila! Thought I would drop by and see my old blogger friends sites and say Hi. Love this happy guy. Reminds me of my dog.

What a perky face on this pup. Sheila, did you give her a little smile or is it my imagination?

Those pity parties are something, aren't they? They happen to the best of us, I think. So glad you've had an upswing! I don't like my friends hurting. This little dog is gorgeous. I just see such a happy personality, boundless joy in life in this guy!

Hi,
A bientôt.

Another great painting! I'm sorry to see you had a pity party. I would have attended if invited, but I was too busy hosting my own. Hope things are better. Hugs to you.

Just precious, Sheila. All your pieces have so much of your passion in them. Isn't it great that we have art as an outlet on those days when things are not going so well.

He looks like a happy dog with a personality. How does one capture personality in an animal? You've done it here. Great job.

I love your pet portraits. As I've said before, they have your unique style and the bold colors give them even more animation and emotion. The size would be even more dramatic when visualized on a wall. Regarding the "pity party"...I always feel that a certain amount of ranting and emoting and whining and WHATEVER ELSE IT TAKES to exorcise those negative feelings is justified. Being able to "vent" through your art is great as well. We move on slowly, at our own pace, and it eventually happens and of course we become stronger for it.
