"A Bridge Not Crossed"

Someone was sharing photos of scenery encountered during their walk. I immediately was taken by this bridge, surrounded by receding snow, crossing over a beautiful blue river still wearing sheets of ice.

I would love to visit this bridge in person one day.

Bises,
Martine-Alison

This looks like a bridge I saw in a couple of VanGogh paintings! In fact, your style here reminds me of his too, Sheila. Well done!

This painting and Dubious Welcome are both very atmospheric and have a sense of time and place. In Dubious Welcome, I love that mysterious feeling...the old chair, the misty green light...what lurks inside? I agree, the bridge must be visited.

Absolutely beautiful painting of a lovely stone arch bridge. Love the color. Reminds me of a bridge that I visit sometimes in Sullivan County New York near a small town called Jeffersonville.
Great work
