Sweet Madeline

Madeline
8x8 oil on wood panel

I was honored when my friend asked me to paint a little memorial portrait for her friend. They had recently lost their sweet Madeline who was the apple of the family's eye. I can see with that adorable face why they would miss her so.

Such a beautiful painting of a beautiful little face. I know I am so thankful to have a painting from Angela Elledge of my Gio. I miss him so very much, so constantly.

Hi Sheila-

Madeline was our sweet dog.

When Ellen gave us the beautiful painting, we were speechless. You captured the essence of Madeline. Your painting sits right in our living room next to the couch that Madeline slept on everyday.

We miss her very much, but your beautiful painting reminds us of all the wonderful memories we have of her.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
