Breezy Dancer

I've always loved images of lacy curtains being ruffled by a slight wind. This is a smaller version of what I'd like to paint on a larger scale one day. Maybe not this particular image but something similar.

Happy New Year, Sheila!

Love the title. I agree, this would make a great larger painting...maybe even a series??

Wonderful subject, Sheila! I think lacey curtains being blown by a breeze would make a fantastic larger painting. It can bring nostalgic feelings for so many!

Sheila,
I like this painting a lot. You captured a loose breezey style just right. I think it would be great in a bigger format.
Like your blog and enjoyed seeing your work!

So happy you are painting and blogging again, Sheila! Love the title and agree this piece would work well in a larger format - maybe Dean's on to something suggesting a series! You captured the breeze and with it a bit of mystery! Do another!

Tout comme vous ma chère Sheila j'ai toujours aimé voir le vent jouer avec les rideaux... e vent qui s'invite à pénétrer et à jouer l'indiscret dans la maison...
Belle toile.

Happy New Year, Sheila. This piece is terrific. Love the rough quality and the strong brown shadows on the white window and drapes.
