Lovely! I need to work on rendering glass... but I don't. Yours turned out much better than mine :)

Sheila, I like the complementary colors and you captured the sheen and texture of the glass nicely.

I have not visited for several days. I am very impressed with your painting of a local park. I agree that the impressionistic approach is very powerful.

I love seeing all your work. Simon was such a lovely tribute for your friend. You have a very kind heart.

Yes it is challenging, but you DID it and a great job, too! You got the value shifts and the multiple highlights!

In the small thumbnail, I could see how well you've captured that transluscence of the glass. I think this is wonderful, Sheila! And the complementary colors are quite striking!

La couleur de votre sujet est explosif... me serviriez-vous un verre d'eau fraƮche?... hum with some menthe! de quoi tomber amoureuse de votre pichet!

You've caught that glass lightness in this so nicely! Love that blue!

Lovely work Sheila, I'm so glad to see new paintings from you!! I've almost purchased this exact (creamer?) on numerous occasions for my still life set ups. The cobalt blue is so striking and you got that!!
