DSFDF Challenge

So I was showing my 11 year old daughter the Different Strokes from Different Folks blog.

She told me she wanted to participate.

I think her multimedia 10x8 painting turned out so much more interesting than my 6x8 oil on canvas board.... *sigh*  [okay I'm just a tad proud too. ;o)]

Sheila, both of you did such a ncie job on the dsfdf beach. This is really a great example that even from one house there can be many interpretations. I also love your pet portraits and am looking into the art for the animals project to do with my students for the animal shelter in my area. Such a nice thing to do!!!!!

Great work here, you should be proud. My own children draw/paint also. I was thinking about posting some of their work and you gave me a bit of a push. Thanks, Sheila.

Nice one Sheila, and it's great to see your daughter taking an active interest. Scary potential upside if she stays with it huh?

Hi! I love your painting and am blown away by your daughter's. How can she not want to paint, with such a model painter as her mom and mentor? Please give her my congratulation! (And accept mine, too, on your piece). xo
