Romeo and Maribel and the launch to help them

Carrie Jacobson and I are proud to announce the official launch of our Art for the Animals project.

Carrie Jacobson has also been contacted by Art Calendar to submit an article about our venture.

Please check out our new blog and read a synopsis in Carrie's first post of how we got started and the invitation to all of you to join us!

Hope to see you there! HUGS!

Hi Sheila,

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I was so timid about submitting, but after I hit send it was painless. I love your blog and your Art for Animals Project. I absolutely love my dog and I am a huge animal fan. When we are in Bali I sketch many of the Bali dogs and there are many...way too many. It is sad.
I would love to join your project when I get back to the USA in June. I think its a great idea and I have thought of doing something to help in anyway I can along with cash donations.
Glad I found your blog—great work.

Sheila, you are a sweetheart! Such a nice project. I'm thinking of doing something along this line w/ a local wildlife refuge that I support. They can always use alternative ways to make ends meet too. They get overwhelmed with baby orphaned animals in the spring. (Right around the corner!)Thanks for your friendship and for being the inspiration you are! Hugs, Sandy

Absolutely fabulous, Sheila!!! You and Carrie's concern for animals is so wonderful. Good luck with this project. Pokey and Tacobelle think you deserve the "Slurp and Lick" blog award.
