Another interesting commission...

Client wanted very specific style and color. This turned out to be more time intensive than first calculated. I am so grateful the client was very patient with me.

That'll teach me to not underestimate a project again ....

You really are multi-talented., Sheila.
I'm forever underestimating commissions. Pricing is tough.

I love that sort of cloisonné style of painting, and think you have done it brilliantly.

This reminds me of stained glass, Sheila. A fine job you have done here, truly. I am sure your client was very pleased with this!

Sweet and congratulations on all the commissions.

As soon as I start a comission, I tighten up, therefore it takes me 3 times as long as I estimated. Is that what happened to you?

Nice job, Sheila! Looks like a beautiful stained glass. Commissions are tough, but I'll bet they loved this one :)

WOW!!! I just love this, the graphic quality is so inviting, great color. Is this the largest you've done? I get so overwhelmed by large canvases. Great job Sheila!

You continue to amaze me Sheila. The way you can jump around in styles and technique is a true art form in itself. Great job.

You are an excellent designer, Sheila! The talent to organise your positive and negative spaces has problably always been there, underlying all your work. When I saw this painting, I also thought: this will make a wonderful oversized mural!

Sheila...what a wonderful painting. Looks abstract, but couldn't be because it is very obvious as to what it is. Wonderful bold colors. Love it.

Your painting reminds me of an antique Hawaiian fabric that my husband owns. I guess it hung at his house when he was growing up..It has stylized shapes in it just like your painting. I bet the people who asked you to paint this are happy!

Wow! This is really nice. reminds of a Robert Gwathmey painting.

Shelia, I think everything you paint is magic. I have to laugh though, because I feel the same way with every commission. I've not had a dissatisfied client in 30 yrs., and yet I always dread the moment when they first see the finished piece - especially the "picky" ones!

I love this simplification and the contrast of patterns in this painting. You are doing great!!!
