Nate from Animal Place Sanctuary

After 7 games of soccer between my two kids over the past two days I'm a little pooped! I feel bad because it was the kids who were playing in 100+ degree weather for most of the games.

I'm trying something new. Animal Place Sanctuary is the midst of a big move to bigger and larger Sanctuary. I would like to try and auction my paintings where all the profit goes to them. I intend to only keep the portion that would enable me to buy replacement materials and reimburse me for the shipping and handling.

What do you think? Any suggestions/comments?

From my fellow expert artist/blogger pals, how do you insert the ebay widget on your page so I don't have to tell my viewers to go HERE to see this on ebay?

Hey, gal, I think the auction idea is an excellent one. Just make sure your contact info is securely on the back of the paintings - also, I'd write a press release about your project and submit it to local news outlets - Love the goat, too. They are such oddballs.

Great color and brush strokes in this painting. Lots of energy. Good luck with the auction. I'm not sure about the ebay widget, but for the ebay store, I saved the logo as a picture, then under add gadget, I added a picture and then copy and pasted the link to the gadget picture. You can get the logo from anywhere, or anyone's blog I think. Does this help??

There's a special look to a goat's eyes. And there it is in your painting. He's (she?) just charming. Great job!

Wonderful goat Sheila!! It's very expressive with the background of turquoise and the look on his(?)face.

Sheila!

eBay partners with Mission Fish for this exact purpose....for eBay sellers to donate a portion of their items to charity.

I've used them before for my own auctions in the past.

You may have to do a couple of searches within eBay to find out about it.

A large number of charities work with Mission Fish already but I'm not sure if the one you mentioned is on their list.

E-mail me if you need more info!
