Sometimes...

When I feel like this....

I want to have a pair of these...

So I can fly away from the pain...

Very expressionistic! I hope you mean it metaphorically and are not sad yourself?

Sheila, these are achingly expressive and beautifully rendered. Hopefully, putting these emotions to canvas and to words has been cathartic.

OK, Sheila, I was away but I am wide awake now....these paintings were done for the exhibition you mention in the previous blog!

This painting would have also been beautiful to have at the event for Domestic Violence Victims. I don't know what caused you to paint such an emotional painting but you've achieved art in it's highest form. Most artist-99.9% will never be able to this. It is meant to heal and touch those who come in contact with it... including the one who created it.

I am just slammed with your emotions here, Sheila. I wish I could give you a hug. I agree with Don also. Hoping those spread wings are a new awakening on the rise. It gets easier; it gets better. This I promise you.

"Everybody hurts, sometimes" but we don't have wings.....hmmmmm There would have been so much traffic in the air and even accidents if we all did.
Cheer up my dear!

I understand that our most successful painting comes from the experiences outside the painting.I am never able to create when I am in pain, but I can see how powerful it can be. You certainly have captured it here. Beautiful!

Sheila...I missed this somewhere along the way. Very emotionally strong. Are you referring to yourself? If so, I hope things look brighter for you soon.
