Micro mini gallery?

Okay, so I may never have a gallery showing but I was pretty jazzed when the SPCA I am working with  emailed me  photos of the donated display case that is set up for the paintings in the lobby of the shelter.

Isn't it cute?  The photo is a little low res but you can see Max on the left, Kayla on the right and a couple of watercolor artcards on easels at the bottom.

They don't have a display case for their other shelter but they are going to discuss how to display my work with staff either this or next week.

Even though I not getting any money from this, the feeling of actually seeing a dream of mine [ Art Saving Animals Project ] coming to fruition is payment enough.

I think this is really wonderful Sheila! Not only is it a great place to display your art (enclosed is great) but it's for a wonderful cause also.

I'm up for the flamethrower...:-)

Very good indeed!!!! The real reward is exposure and recognition, I feel. Money may verify success for some but imagine selling art in secret, who would care? A show is the best of everything. Congratulations!!!

What a lovely display, I would be so proud if it were mine, well done Sheila, it's well deserved for all the effort you have put in for the shelter. A real pat on the back from me in rainy England!

It is cute! Nice that it's all protected too. What a great accomplishment, not only what you, yourself have done, but also all that you've inspired others to do! (I went to the AFA site and saw the work done by the group of children...very cool!)

Sheila, congratulations! this is as fine a show as anyone will ever have - or even finer, as it is so much from the heart. I think it's wonderful, and I am so proud of you, and of everyone involved in this amazing project.

Hi Shelia!

This is great and I'm very happy for you. In my opinion, I definitely believe you will have a gallery showing...more than 1 too.

This is such a worthy cause, I'm so very glad that it is getting this type of recognition.

Congrats again. Kathleen

Sheila, you are one busy gal! Your animal art project is such a good idea that I'm going to approach our local Save-a-pet and Art League about getting together for the shelter's annual auction. Why haven't they done this before?!

Wow. This is fantastic, Sheila. I am inspired by your selflessness. I am thinking about doing it, too. I can hardly stand looking at the photos on petfinder and rescue sites....especially of the senior dogs.

If you want a gallery show someday Sheila, you will have one. I have no doubt about it. P.S., The Micro-mini goes on your artistic resume. Yes, of course it does. Start one today.

Wow, what an awesome opportunity! Your work looks beautiful in the display. And what a wonderful way to combine two things you are passionate about.

I think you made a good decision to push the reproductions, you don't want to copy the same painting over and over and over, then it wouldn't be special, either to you or your buyers.

Sheila!

Who needs a gallery showing? This little display case is the next best thing!

Very cute indeed!

I love that your miniature works are all grouped together and on display in one neat little area.

Congrats on the display and for the work you're doing for those animals!
