Artist trading cards ATC

click to enlarge images if you'd like

If you visit Erika's
, Akiko's or Mark's blogs, you will see absolutely jaw dropping masterpieces of ACEO. [ Artist's Card, Editions or Originals] Their cards are much sought after and people buy or bid big bucks for these cards. I'm not there yet so I'm still trading them through a group of Artists at Artbistro.com. Here are some of these 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inch cards I've traded in the past. They were done in watercolor, color pencil and oil.

Sheila, these are terrific. I find the wooden model with partially drawn shadow so clever! Then the cherry is so delicious looking that it makes me hungry.

Trading cards are big with a group of artists in my community too (Denver), as are 'progressive books'. I'm always amazed at what great lengths they go to. I really like your 'small subjects' approach... Cheese-It's! What a design natural!

Also, I wanted to let you know I've decided to start posting a series of Photoshop tips starting probably tomorrow. In reading through comments on many sites, including DSFDF, I see that a number of people might find this interesting and hopefully useful. I invite you to visit and see what you think, and add any questions you might have.

Sheila, what delightful set of ACEOs!! My most favorite is "Benadryl anyone?" Thank god I haven't been needing it for a few years now. I don't know what you mean by you are not there yet.
Thanks for the link to my blog, and to Artbistro.com. :) Will check out this site.

ACEOs are fun to create. Yours are definitely fun to look at! You are such a prolific artist Sheila! Is there anything you don't do? ;)

LOL... I don't sell my stuff yet because I haven't figured out how to do it. Either that, I don't know how to find buyers.
