What was my inspiration?

Was it a particular bad day after dealing with my ex? Was it learning that he wanted to get more money from me and take me back to court? Was it because I had not heard from any of the part time jobs I had applied for or that I was having my 143rd peanut butter sandwich for breakfast and lunch so my kids could have a decent dinner when they are with me? Nope. This graphite drawing with a little micron pen was inspired by a 2 second shot of a woman dealing with cramps on her couch (clothed of course) in a Pamprin commercial. LOL.... gotta see the light and opportunity in every day we're given. Have a great day everyone.

Well that's turning a lemon day into lemonade! Good for you Sheila -excellent to shun away bad elements by plastering a beautifully drawn piece of art! Be careful with the peanut butter though it's been in the news >_<

Sorry I've been so busy to comment lately but your pieces of works I've seen make my day. I haven't gotten enough sleep for days and I'm also having to deal with non-fine art commissions lately. Take care and keep your chin up, sending you the most powerful brightest colors of positive energy!

143 Peanut Butter Sandwiches? I've never been able to get down more than about a hundred in one sitting. Nice work...added ya to my bloglist. Oh, and a favor. You get around a lot, and I value your opinion...I just hope it's not bad etiquette to mention it. But if you get a chance, check out Windows to the Word and give me your honest opinion. Keep strokin....James

Very expressive drawing, Sheila! Sorry to hear that you have a bad ex. I don't know him, but I already don't like him.
Keep up the good spirit! Just watch out where your peanut butter is coming from. (Hugs)

Its a lovely drawing Sheila, I love bold images like this with the outline and white background. Its always nice if your having a bad day to focus on yourself and being an artist:o)
